Ysbrechtum
A small village in North Holland, with only 680 inhabitants? YES, this is Ysbrechtum and is the opposite of boring when seeing it from the sunny side of life. Ysbrechtum stands for beautiful nature, speaking of 100% pure Holland country side and comes with its lovely and motivated inhabitants.
Those 680 inhabitants are waiting for you to share their lovely and relaxing ‘dorpje’ with you.
Still not convinced? May I introduce you to the main attraction of Ysbrechtum (besides its friendly inhabitants): THE EPEMA STATE.
The Epema State is a lovely castle which you can rent for any occasion you may have, such as Weddings, Parties, Congresses and such. Surrounded by a little canal and with its many colourful flowers and trees you feel like being in another world for that day.
Besides our little castle we also have an old Church next to it were you can get married and just a few meters next to it you can have your wedding party in the Epema State.
Are you more interested in cycling, in such a Dutch style? This is also possible as Ysbrechtum is one of the Points of the Northern Route. As you need accommodation in order to stay for a few days, there is the lovely Bed & Breakfast ‘Bed en Brochje’, hosted by a Dutch Family for years already. All what you need for dinner, you will find in the local grocery store and the local butcher. Looking for a romantic dinner for two you have the change to grab a bottle of self-made wine at the local winery of the city.
Ysbrechtum
But how do you get to this place? Ysbrechtum is located near the big city Sneek and is easily reached by bike or car. From the train station in Sneek, it is a thirty minute walk to the beautiful village. For more information about this lovely village, take a look at the webpage: http://www.ysbrechtum.com/.
