Flora and Fauna is the name of the fountain, which is arranged in a concealed manner in Hindeloopen.
The imposing object consists first of all of a large wooden antler-like shape. Children scramble to their heart’s content. In the middle of the wooden antler is a sculpture that symbolizes the tree of life that adorns Hindeloopen’s weapon with a doe and a deer. According to insiders, the tree of life stands for life, energy and wisdom.
A few exotic birds have been placed in the tree, spewing water alternately as if they were engaged in an important conversation.
